SUJATA PRIYAMBADA
The emerald ocean
The upgazing tall
coconut tree
And rain
As if the white ship of clouds
Has been anchored
It is raining
Drip-drop, many drops
Surf
Voyaging over the waves
The sails of the rain
Have been unfurled
By the winds
Through the coconut leaves
The ocean disappeared
And coconut tree disappeared
And rain disappeared
In the rain.
