THE ELEVEN COMMANDMENTS OF OLD AGE

1. To live is not merely to breathe but to act.

2. To remain young, one must be active.

3. If you want to live long, stay active. As long as the brain is healthy, age cannot come in your way.

4. Advice to the aged. Do it today when you are younger.

5. Keep your mind busy and active. With age we should grow, and not decay.

6. A bridge player is young at any age.

7. If you do not play bridge, alas, what a sad old age you are preparing for yourself.

8. You are as old as you feel.

9. The old man who does not laugh is a fool.

10. Every one grows old but desire always remains young.

11. It is better to be 70 years young than to be 40 years old.
