That even Mahatma Gandhi, Rajaji and other eminent persons and thinkers had shared their thoughts through ‘TRIVENI’ and that already over 80 years it continued to serve public, speak of the good standards and values of excellence it has all along been maintaining. Educated and discerning public are noticing this more and more in the different parts of India and perhaps even abroad.

It reminds what Dr. W. Goethe, a last century’s world famous writer of Germany, was reported to have stated as under, when a popular but rather superficial novelist of that period laughed at / heckled a book “The Four Roots of Reason” by a contemporary famous philosopher / writer Schopenhauer:-

“Madam, a day will come when even a scrap-heap will not tolerate your present       so-called popular novels, but even posterity will continue to read with benefit the book “The Four Roots of Reason”. This aptly applies to TRIVENI, for many of its articles have abiding value and would continue to be read by future generations too.

Hail to TRIVENI, its dedicated Editor, writers and management.

July-Sept 2008 issue of TRIVENI – Apart from Triple Stream, there is one article that touches my heart instantly is one written by Mr. M. L. Swamy on rampant corruption. Surely, it is the pick of all choices. Next translation by Prof K. Purusotham throws light on many aspects of writer’s experiences in USA. Excellent translation work indeed!

Short story (Balloon Therapy) by      Mrs. Sandhya shows how Balloon Therapy worked for her while dealing with day’s hectic schedule.
